The Richard C. Goodwin College of Professional Studies at Drexel University invites nominations and applications for a fulltime non tenure-track Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor position within the Ed.D Program at the School of Education. This position will be located in Sacramento, CA.
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have an earned doctorate in one of the following areas: Higher Education, K-12 Administration, Education Policy, Human Resource Development or a related field. An entrepreneurial spirit and excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are critical to success. Applicant should have experience in one or more of the following areas: experience in problem-based learning, teaching with an array of distance learning technologies, teaching in blending learning formats, and evidence of program planning; faculty recruitment; faculty mentoring and evaluation; budget management and oversight of program operations such as course scheduling. Experience with advising doctoral level dissertations preferred.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach graduate, online and on-campus courses; conduct research and grant writing activities; conduct outreach and public service activities; and advise students as both dissertation supervising professor and committee member. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of or potential for research, leadership, successful grant writing and other fund-raising activities, and the ability to work collaboratively with on-campus and off-campus colleagues and constituencies; to thrive in an urban and multicultural setting; and to utilize technology-enhanced learning.
