Senior Lecturer Position: The Ohio State University
The School of Educational Policy & Leadership at The Ohio State University is seeking a dynamic instructor with expertise in Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA). This appointment, at the Senior Lecturer level, will help to fill current and future needs in the Higher Education and Student Affairs area.
The Senior Lecturer in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program will teach graduate courses, including campus environments, leadership, women in higher education, and practicum as well as undergraduate leadership courses so as to assist in further developing the undergraduate minor in leadership; advise students; and participate in program administration such as attending faculty meetings, participating in recruitment, admissions, orientation activities, and providing service as needed. Specific teaching responsibilities will be determined in consultation with the HESA Section Head and the School Director.
Qualifications: Earned doctoral degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs or a related area; relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels; professional experience in student affairs. Strong candidates will have a record of excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate level instruction, advising skills, an ability to contribute to program administration, and relevant professional experiences.
Position: This position is full time, 9 month appointment.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
