Call for Academic Coaches for Fall 2017-The Charles Drew Science Scholars Program

The Charles Drew Science Scholars Program is looking for excellent instructors for our Academic Coaching Program (paid-position). Needed topics will include, Chemistry (general and organic), Math (calculus and trigonometry) and Biology (Bio 161, 162, genetics and microbiology).

Qualifications:
*Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in subject discipline
*Knowledge of, or experience teaching study strategies, organization and time management skills
*Effective oral and writing communications skills
Brief Description:
*Coach 1-2 course study groups (3-8 students per study group) for 2 hour sessions, twice per week
*  Provide weekly progress reports on study group(s) and individual students
*  Actively participate in weekly staff meetings
