Register for CAP 7 & CAP 8
The MHSAA Coaches Advancement Program (CAP) is an educational program geared to assist you in your growth and development as you advance in the field of educational athletics. This program is a national leader for providing extensive coach education to its member schools. The MHSAA and the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports at MSU have a decades-long partnership with a shared mission of improving the youth sport experience and advancing coach education.For the 3rd straight year, the Institute is proud to partner with the MHSAA to offer levels 7 and 8 of their Coaches Advancement Program.
Participants who complete the Summer Coaches’ School will be eligible for CAP 7 and CAP 8 credentials. In addition, CAP 7 and CAP 8 each provide 6 SCECH credits

Any coach who is coaching for a school-based program that is associated with the MHSAA.

How should you apply?
Registrations for the Summer Coaches’ School and CAP 7/8 are separate transactions. You will need to register for the Summer Coaches’ School first – see the link at the end of the email for details.In order to register for CAP 7 and CAP 8, you will need to follow the links below and register specifically for CAP 7 and 8. This registration is separate from the conference registration and has an additional MHSAA processing fee.There will also be onsite payment and registration for CAP 7 and 8 the day of the event.
The 2017 Summer Coaches’ School takes place June 19-20 at the Brody Center at MSU. The cost is $125 for both days (or $75 for a single day). For a limited time, we have a buy 3 get 1 free registration special: You can register 4 coaches from 1 school or club for the price of 3.
