FILL THE BUS: In partnership with the Office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education, the Center for Service-Learning & Civic Engagement invites you to take part in the 8th annual MSU Fill the Bus event during Fall Welcome Week 2016 (August 29th – September 2nd)!

Since Spartans strive to embody the MSU idea of “education for others”, let’s start this year off right and “Fill the Bus” by donating school supplies for those in need in our community. Small donations make BIG impacts: that extra notebook, folder, pack of markers, or other items you give, combined with those of thousands of MSU students and staff, helps to make the beginning of the school year brighter for local children and their families. Last year, we collected nearly 250+ bags full of school supplies for area partners! While that’s impressive, we think we can do even better…will you help us top that amount this year Please click on the link below to help us #FilltheBus in 2016.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR KIN MAJORS:

Professor Karin Pfeiffer is looking for volunteers to play with East Lansing elementary students at recess at Donley Elementary School (corner of Hagadorn and Lake Lansing). The times should be at lunch (11:15-12:35) and recess (2:25-2:40). This can be done for KIN 492 or KIN 494 credit but can just be volunteer basis. I’m looking for both fall and spring semesters. Anyone interested can email Dr. Pfeiffer at kap@msu.edu.
