MSU Moves Me, a program developed by Olin Health Center, Recreational Sports and Fitness and MSU’s Department of Kinesiology, will launch the Annual All Campus Challenge in January 2013.
With a goal to promote physical activity, the program’s motto is: “Moving Our Community, Challenging Ourselves!” On Oct. 12, the Rock, Walk N Roll event encouraged the campus community to get moving, as well as drew attention to campus walking loops. Over 150 participants completed a one-mile walk beginning at ‘The Rock’ and continuing along MSU’s Red Cedar River. Participants included MSU’s university physician, provost and interim vice president for student affairs and services. Staff, faculty and graduate and undergraduate students also participated and goody bags were handed out throughout the event.
MSU Moves Me is continually working to increase physical activity at Michigan State University. For further details, “like” the program on Facebook.
