Confucius Institute presents Chinese New Year Festival

The Chinese New Year festival is the most important holiday for Chinese people. On the seventh day of the Chinese
New Year (which falls on Jan. 29 this year), the Confucius Institute at Michigan State University invites students, faculty, staff and families throughout the Lansing area to celebrate this great festival with a special performance at Dart Auditorium, 500 N. Capitol Ave. in Lansing.

They have invited the Jilin University performance troupe from Jilin, China to perform a series of Chinese dances and songs. This free event allows your family to experience how millions of Chinese people celebrate this great holiday.

The show runs form 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
