Rebecca Jacobsen, assistant professor of teacher education in the College of Education, has been selected to receive an Outstanding Reviewer Award on behalf of Urban Education, a journal that provides analyses of critical concerns facing inner-city schools.
The award recognizes reviewers for their exceptional contributions to the review process, especially regarding the quality, depth and timeliness of reviews. This year, four reviewers were chosen.
Jacobsen is being recognized on April 14, 2012 at the Urban Education Editorial Board Meeting, held during the 2012 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting in Vancouver.
