Spartans help Fill-the-Bus

August 27, 2012

Students, faculty and staff, we need your help to Fill-the-Bus this week at MSU!

The College of Education is participating in the annual university-wide collection of items such as school supplies, non-perishable food, health and hygiene items and sports or play equipment. The donations go to the Family Resource Center-Student Parents on a Mission and the MSU Student Food Bank, as well as a range of other Lansing-area schools and organizations that serve families in need.

Donations are being accepted until this Thursday, Aug. 30. Look for the green plastic bins and yellow signs in the lobby of Erickson Hall. Cash donations can also be accepted in 134 Erickson Hall, the Student Affairs Office.

Individual, small items donated by multiple individuals will create significant volume and impact for those who would otherwise struggle to get, or would have to go without.  Participation in Fill-the-Bus not only helps those in need, but importantly helps to underscore MSU’s belief that Spartans Give – of themselves, to others, in community, for the public good!
