Facilitating Classroom Conversations on the Current Political Climate: A Trauma-Informed Dialogic Approach

Srivi Ramasubramanian is Newhouse Professor & Endowed Chair at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Her scholarship addresses pressing contemporary globalissues relating to media, diversity, and social justice. She is the Co-Director of the Difficult Dialogues Project and Founding Director of CODE^SHIFT (Collaboratory for Data Equity, Social Healing, Inclusive Futures, and Transformation). She is widely recognized for her pioneering work on trauma-informed communication, media literacy, critical media effects, bias reduction interventions, antiracism dialogues and scholar-activism.
