CREATE for STEM: Works-in-Progress Talk

Dr. Juli Uhl, research associate in the CREATE for STEM Institute, will give a talk on “Revealing Student Thinking About Molecular Processes in Information Flow and Transfer in Biology”.

As member of the Automated Analysis of Constructed Response team, Juli will describe the development of an item for use in college biology courses to assess student understanding of the process of transcription.

This work will help develop an assessment of mechanistic thinking about genetic information flow.
