What do students say?
“This class was hard in a good way. There was lots of quality reading, lots of thought-provoking concepts. It was exactly what I wanted from a masters-level course.” – CEP 813 Student, Summer 2020
“This course was relevant to what is happening in education right now. It also gave the ability for conversation between students in a way that I had not seen before. I also thought the flexibility and open-ended nature in some of the assignments lent itself well to the content and the online setup.” – CEP 817 Student, Spring 2020
“I loved how the course itself stood as a model for the topic of the course, which is online teaching and learning. I felt valued and enjoyed learning about all the ways course design can be used in online courses.” – CEP 820 Student, Summer 2020
“I really enjoyed the way we were encouraged to get to know each other through the introductions document and the Zoom meetings. The various Zoom meetings helped me feel known and I enjoyed the feeling of talking face to face with my instructor and peers. I also loved the ‘Pull Back the Curtain’ moments and that we could access examples of past work through the CEP 820 Showcase.” – CEP 820 Student, Summer 2020
“This course was phenomenal! I enjoyed that we did one large semester long project and the units were split up with the different phases of design thinking. I think this was a very well thought out and organized course.” – CEP 817 Student, Spring 2020
