Diversity MMPIC trainers are committed to ensuring diversity among our interns, and we select candidates representing different geographic areas, ages, racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, disabilities, and life experiences.
Clinical Experience MMPIC trainers work with children, adolescents, and families. As such, all applicants must have fieldwork experiences with a school-age population.
Writing Skills Applicants must demonstrate strong writing skills in application materials.
Letters of Recommendation Applicants must have three letters of recommendation.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills: MMPIC seeks interns who are flexible, collaborative, mature, and open to feedback and supervision. Applicants interested in culturally competent practice or speak a second language are prioritized.

Applicants must complete their doctoral dissertation proposals prior to the internship ranking deadline.
All applicants must be eligible to obtain their Doctoral Temporary Limited License in Psychology (TLLP) in Michigan.
All consortium sites require background checks as a condition of employment. All sites may require drug testing at any time.
