Master of Arts in Education: Application Workshop, Sept. 13, 4 p.m.: The MAED is designed for all educators who want to enhance their professional practice through advanced study related to teaching, learning, and leadership. Join Program Director Dr. Stephanie Jennings and Academic Advisor John Olle to learn more about application requirements and how to write your professional goal statement. Master of Arts in Special EducationSept. 14, 4 p.m. The college offers two online master’s programs in the field of special education: The M.A. in Special Education is designed for highly committed and competent teachers in K-12 settings and offers emphasis areas in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Learning Disabilities. The M.A. in Special Education Leadership: MTSS prepares aspiring leaders to make a lasting impact in elementary and secondary schools through the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. Master of Arts in Science in Sport Coaching, Leadership, & Administration, Sept. 21, 7 p.m. If you are a current or aspiring coach, athletic director, sport administrator, or leader in a sport-related field, the M.S. in Sport Coaching, Leadership, & Administration can help you take the next step in your career. Students will gain foundational knowledge in the science of sport coaching and sport administration, ethical decision-making, reflective practice, and the skills of a culturally competent practitioner.
