Our community partners have a variety of new volunteer opportunities open. Students interested in volunteering this semester can view options in the SpartansVolunteer platform. Opportunities with shifts available include:
- Allen Neighborhood Center: BreadBasket Food Pantry Volunteer, GardenHouse Volunteer, Veggie Box Volunteer
- Boys & Girls Club of Lansing: Activities/Gym Volunteer, Homework Help Volunteer, Teen Zone Volunteer
- Delta Township District Library: Math and Reading Homework Help Volunteers
- Eastminster Child Development Center Volunteers
- Eastside Community Action Center: Youth Development Assistants, Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Assistants
- Haven House Volunteers
- Hope Community Church High School Tutors
- Lansing Everett High School Tutors
- Todd Martin Youth Leadership: K-12 Tutors, K-5 After School Program Tutors
- Waverly High School Tutors
Volunteers must complete a CCEL orientation in D2L and a Criminal Background Check before registering for volunteer opportunities in SpartansVolunteer. Students can sign into SpartansVolunteer.msu.edu with their MSU email to learn more about completing these required qualifications.
