
The College of Education is looking to hire a Career Peer Advisor for Fall 2025! This part-time position (up to 8 hours a week) pays $13/hour. Applicants must be creative, personable, and passionate about helping fellow College of Education students achieve their major and career goals.
Role Description:
As a Career Peer Advisor, you will work closely with students and professionals within the College of Education and Career Services. You will be responsible for creating weekly newsletters that contain important career-related information for College of Education students. You will meet with students one-on-one, offering advice on their resumes or helping them navigate career services. Additionally, you will assist with career fairs and events by setting up, checking people in, answering questions, and cleaning up.
Requirements:
- Full-time undergraduate College of Education student in the Teacher Preparation Program with sophomore or junior status (as of Fall 2025).
- In good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA).
- Must commit to two semesters in this position.
