Are you an undergraduate or master’s student looking for a summer opportunity to dive into research, build your resume or CV, and potentially earn independent study credits or a strong recommendation for grad school? Look no further!
Leaders in the Child Development department are currently leading a Scoping Review project. They are actively seeking curious and motivated students to join their team of faculty, undergrads, and graduate students. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical research skills in a supportive environment over the summer months. No prior experience needed!
About the Project: The Influence of Early Childhood Education Teachers’ Characteristics on Teaching
The project aims to systematically review and synthesize existing research literature on the Influence of Early Childhood Education Teachers’ Characteristics on Teaching. As a valued team member, you’ll be involved in:
- Screening titles and abstracts of research papers to identify relevant studies.
- Conducting full-text reviews of selected research articles.
- Potentially contributing to the writing of a portion of the research, if you’re interested.
- Collaborating with a diverse team of researchers, from beginners to experts

Who We’re Looking For:
Seeking enthusiastic undergraduate or master’s students who are:
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to commit to 6 to 12 hours per week for the next 3-6 months (ideally through the summer and into the fall).
