The General Assembly is the legislative body of the Associated Students of Michigan State University (ASMSU) which introduces, debates, and votes on legislative action to take a stance on behalf of the collective undergraduate student body. The actions and bills that are passed from the General Assembly then get passed on to University officials, community leaders, and representatives from state and Federal levels of government.
Appointment applications to become a part of the General Assembly are open for most colleges! Forms will be accepted on a rolling basis until the seats for a college have been filled. The form can be accessed here and if you have any questions regarding the appointment process you can contact rec@asmsu.msu.edu.
