The Student-Athlete Support Services Tutorial Office is looking to hire competent, organized, and dedicated tutors for the Fall 2023 Semester. Requirements are listed on the website, but all majors and programs are accepted! There are multiple positions for this part-time paid opportunity. Tutorial hours during the Fall Semester are 8:00am-9:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-5:00pm Friday. Interested students can apply using this link by scanning the QR code on the flyer. The Earth Day Spartan Day of Service occurs from 9:00am – 2:00pm on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. The Spartan Day of Service is a free event for all students and includes a morning kick off-event at the Business College Complex, bus transportation to all volunteer sites, breakfast, a boxed lunch, and a Spartan Days of Service t-shirt. Volunteer sites for this Day of Service include Edgewood Village Housing Nonprofit, REACH Art Studio, Fenner Nature Center, Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary School of Flint, Haven House, and more. The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is offering a series of Education Workforce Virtual Job Fairs, presented in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO). The 2023 virtual job fairs are open to employers of educators and educational support staff, as well as all individuals seeking to work in the education field. The first fair will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 and future fairs will be held on June 7, 2023 and August 9, 2023. More information can be found at Education Workforce Job Fairs.

Paid internships for duration of May 8th – August 18th for current MSU students. Eligible for up to 40 hours/week at $15/hour. Schedule may depend on individual positions. Multiple positions may be available for each posting!

Howell Recreation is hiring counselors for their Summer Day Camp. This would be a great opportunity for potential future teachers to build their resume and enjoy the summer working with children. They are also hosting an open interview session on Saturday, March 4th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. See the attached flyer for more information.
