Accessible Learning Conference

December 1, 2017 - December 2, 2017

Join us on December 1st and 2nd, 2017 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center at Michigan State University for the Accessible Learning Conference. The conference will include two days of presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and networking opportunities. We hope you’ll join us again to explore and celebrate accessible content, course, and website design in education.

We place a strong emphasis on student involvement in this conference as a way to provide the experience they need to present their own research and work, as well as be able to interact with future peers and collaborators around this very important topic.

What is Accessibility?

Accessibility is the inclusive practice of removing barriers which prevent access to information and education. We understand accessibility as referring to ongoing and intentional work across a variety of learning environments, whether that be online or face-to-face, and work which fundamentally seeks to provide universally accessible courses, websites, and content.
