Advancing Equity through Decision Making in STEM Teacher Education

In collaboration with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), Michigan State University is offering a 1-day convening to discuss advancing equity through decision making, with specific attention to teacher education. Consensus report committee members Megan Bang, Gudiel Crosthwaite, Maisie Gholson, Stefanie Marshall, Thomas Philip, Shirin Vossoughi and Chris Wright will join local experts in conversations. This event will bring various stakeholders (e.g., teachers, policymakers, faculty and community members) together from MSU, the state and the country to engage in realizing equitable STEM education across the State of Michigan in each of our respective roles.
