Building the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) into EA Programs

While recognizing the many positive impacts of education abroad on students, there are long-lasting global impacts that students can make through the successful integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into education abroad. In this workshop, participants will be provided with an overview of how MSU can successfully integrate some aspects of the UNSDGs into individual and group education abroad programming. Presenters will define key terms, discuss the UNSDGs most relevant to education abroad and share the program design and planning process of the “Packaging in Africa” education abroad program that focuses on UNSDG #12.
