C-RAIND Seminar Series: Isabella Felzer-Kim

“Training the Fundamental Movement Skills of Preschoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention Centers”

Isabella Felzer-Kim, M.D./Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Kinesiology and the College of Human Medicine will present on this topic. Felzer-Kim works with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her current research in the PLAY’d LAB with Dr. Janet Hauck focuses on the physical development of children with ASD. She studies motor skills, physical activity and sleep behaviors and how these interact with ASD. Her work involves both observational studies and the implementation and evaluation of interventions.

Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be served.
