“Cardiac Issues in Student-Athletes” – MSU Athletic Training Education Endowment Fund Lecture

MSU Athletic Training Education Endowment Fund welcomes Dr. Matthew D. Wilcox and Dr. Carlos Fernandez to present their lecture “Cardiac Issues in Student-Athletes”. Dr. Wilcox and Dr. Fernandez currently work at Sparrow Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute and specialize in cardiovascular disease. This lecture will focus on the athletic heart, describe common cardiac conditions seen in athletes, and describe preparticipation cardiac screening measures.
