CED Fellowship Info Session

The College of Education’s Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs Kristine L. Bowman will host an open forum about two funding programs. This session will include summaries about the programs and an opportunity to ask questions. The session will be recorded.

• Summer Research Development Fellowship (SRDF):

• • $6,000 fellowships support students just completing their first year in developing research skills and approaches.
  • Deadline: January 25, 2021 submit applications to College.
  • Minor changes this year, including increasing the award from $5K to $6K.

• Second-round Dissertation Completion Fellowship (DCF):

• • $7,000 fellowships to support final-stage students during dissertation writing.
  • Deadline: determined by departments, students submit applications to departments (departments submit applications & rankings to the College by March 1).
  • Expanded eligibility conditions compared to the first round; rising final-year students and students completing substantial revisions are included.
  • Departments may consider applicants not funded under the first round for funding under the second round.
