Holistic admissions has become a pervasive practice among selective colleges, and there is an increasing body of research that seeks to define what it is and examine its effects, particularly on the enrollment of marginalized students.  At the same time, test-optional admissions practices have become more common, first primarily among liberal arts colleges, and now in a pandemic, at the vast majority of selective institutions. This symposium of multiple panels will discuss the impact of holistic admissions and a test-optional policy from various perspectives including policy, research, and practice. Presenters will discuss the wide range of issues raised by this policy and consider the future of college admissions and test-optional policy to higher education. Event Registration Link: Seating Limited. Register by April 13, 2022. https://msu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bkdrGIASS2i3SoS
