Community-Based Participatory Research to Achieve Social Justice

September 9, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

MSU Professor Patricia Edwards will be featured on the Community-Based Participatory Research to Achieve Social Justice panel during the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s (AACTE) virtual 2020 Washington Week.

From AACTE: “AACTE represents more than 700 educator preparation programs at colleges and universities nationwide and is the leading voice on educator preparation, which includes preparation of teachers and school leaders. Washington Week is our annual event dedicated exclusively to policy and advocacy.

“During the panel, Dr. Edwards will be speaking to participants of the Holmes Program. The Holmes Program is AACTE’s flagship initiative to diversify faculty in academia and leaders in the profession. The program provides support, mentorship and leadership opportunities to master and doctoral students who self-identify as racially and ethnically diverse and are pursuing graduate degrees in education at AACTE member institutions.”
