A 3-day intensive program designed by MSU’s top-ranked College of Education, the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) and the Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association (MEMSPA) to give aspiring principals an opportunity to explore in detail the knowledge, skillsets and mindsets required to become an effective school administrator in today’s complex educational environments.
Participants will engage in collaborative discussions, gaining insight into the challenges and rewards of principalship. As part of the Emerging Leaders Program, attendees will have the opportunity to further develop their leadership capacity and explore pathways toward becoming school administrators. By the end of the program, participants will leave with valuable connections, practical strategies, and a clearer vision for their leadership journey.
