Ewigleben Symposium

The HALE Center for Higher and Adult Education (CHAE) biennial Ewigleben Symposium, held on April 5, 2024.

Widely regarded for his leadership in higher education, Robert Ewigleben amassed a record of achievement during his more than 30 years as a teacher and administrator. This symposium aims to bring together experts, scholars, professionals and enthusiasts from various fields to engage in insightful discussions, share innovative ideas and foster collaborations.

What does culture war mean for people who work in and around higher education?

Higher education faces intense political scrutiny. This year’s Ewigleben Symposium, in conjunction with recognition of the the 75th anniversary of the Student Affairs Administration master’s program, explores what political pressure means for those who work in and around higher education.
