Fall 2022 Doctoral Convocation

The College of Education is hosting an in-person Doctoral Convocation (Hooding Ceremony) on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Erickson Hall Kiva. The ceremony, in addition to university Commencement activities, serves as a special recognition for those obtaining their doctoral degree(s) from the College of Education. University Commencement for graduates from doctoral programs begins at 3:30 pm in the Breslin Student Events Center. We will also livestream this event so that loved ones near and far can join in your celebration.
We welcome participation in this ceremony by any Ph.D. candidates who defended their dissertation (or have a dissertation defense scheduled no later than Dec. 31, 2022) and any Ed.D. and Ed.S. candidates who have completed all degree requirements before Dec. 31, 2022. Spartan alumni who fit this criteria received a link to apply to the ceremony in their MSU email account.

The Erickson Hall parking lot (lot 38) will be open to the public on the afternoon of Dec. 16.
