Get-A-Job Practice Interviews

Welcome to the registration for the MSU College of Education Alumni Board’s annual Get-A-Job Practice Interviews event! This networking opportunity is open to all current MSU fifth-year Teacher Preparation Program interns. This popular event helps you to prepare for the interview season by practicing your interview skills with professional teachers and administrators.

If you are a student/intern, registration will open soon.
You are encouraged to bring your resume and portfolio (even if in draft form) to the interview. You will meet with an experienced educator for approximately 60 minutes, a portion of which will be a practice interview and the rest will be feedback on your interviewing skills, portfolio and resume. It is advisable that you dress professionally.

If you’re interested in being an interviewer, have questions regarding the event, or if you need to cancel, you may leave a message at any time by contacting event coordinators at cedalum@msu.edu.
INTERNS
If you wish to seek assistance with interviewing, resume writing, job searching, or other career-related topics, please schedule an appointment with a College of Education career advisor on Handshake.
CANCELLATION
Since we are asking our volunteer educators to give up part of their Saturday to offer this service, we ask that you let us know by Tuesday, February 21 if you are not able to attend your scheduled interview or if it becomes necessary to change your appointment time. To cancel or change your interview, please contact event coordinators at cedalum@msu.edu.
