The new MSU Global Engagement Speaker Series is inviting individuals of distinction from higher education, global organizations, and philanthropies to share their thoughts, research, and practice with the MSU community. While exploring the primary foci of advancing fundamental human rights and meeting basic human needs, the Series seeks to highlight the role of higher education as a collaborator, working with civil societies, governments, and industry to enhance societal well-being. Distinguished speakers from around the world will reflect on their experiences regarding the role of universities and scholars in addressing pressing issues that people across the globe face in their daily lives. The Global Engagement Speaker Series is sponsored by University Outreach and Engagement, International Studies and Programs and the Graduate School.
