How to Support MI’s Black Male Students in 2023

The Michigan State University College of Education and the Office of K-12 Outreach presents the second annual Community Conversation: How to Support Michigan’s Black Male Students in 2023. Registration is required.
This event was created to supply educators and the local community with the latest cutting-edge research-based information to support Michigan Black males to become college- and career-ready in 2023. Don’t miss this opportunity to sit and talk with Black male educators about strategies to help Black male students thrive in 2023!
OUTCOMES
- Creation of a friendly, community conversation with Black male educators
- Provide opportunities for educators to engage with college faculty
- Increased opportunities for Black male Detroit students
The event will include an informal mini presentation, lunch and a panel discussion.
In addition, we will celebrate the release of two new books:
