Info Sessions: New Policy for Intl. Student Visas

UPDATE JULY 22, 2020: The Office of International Studies and the Office for Academic and Student Affairs will offer informational session for faculty, staff and international students related to questions about international student visas/enrollment for fall 2020. You have already heard the news that the ICE policy from earlier in July related to online enrollment for continuing international students was rescinded. However, we realize there may still be questions or concerns that you have. Additionally, online enrollment policy guidance for new international students is still not clear. We encourage everyone to read the excellent updates from Office of International Students and Scholars. We also encourage program directors and advisors to encourage any international students (especially those outside of the U.S.) who will graduate this coming fall or spring to make a virtual appointment with an OISS advisor as soon as possible. We are aware there are still questions about awarding funding to international students outside of the U.S. There is a university committee working on this, including creating an FAQ for international students, but we do not have concrete updates at this time.
