LATTICE Book Club

March 27, 2019 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm EDT

Join area teachers and MSU students and teacher candidates for a book discussion event. First, the group will watch a 30-minute special exhibit: :Remembering the Rwanda Genocide Against the Tutsi 25 Years Later: A 360-Degree Immersive Visualization Exhibit” in the Digital Scholarship Lab at MSU’s Main Library.

Erik Ponder, African Studies Librarian will be the host. Erik visited Rwanda last summer and is the curator of the exhibit. The exhibit makes use of some of his photographs and interviews.

After the exhibit, the book discussion will be led by Robert Lurie, LATTICE Session Director, Waverly High School teacher, and IRRC member, who also visited Rwanda last year.
