LGBTQIA2S+ Research in Higher Education Symposium

Supported by the Mildred B. Erickson Distinguished Chair in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University, this symposium aims to highlight, advance, and invite dialogue about research on LGBTQIA2S+ issues in higher education. We are interested in the full range of LGBTQIA2S+ topics, including but not limited to scholarly inquiry about students, faculty, administrators, and staff; leadership, organizational theory, administration; policy; campus climate; teaching, learning, pedagogy, and outcomes; and curriculum studies, queer theory, and LGBTQIA2S+/gender studies. The event will take place Saturday, October 14, 2023 on the campus of Michigan State University and in fully online format. It will run from 8 am to 5:45 pm (Eastern US time zone). To maximize financial accessibility for participating there will be no registration fee to present or attend. We will provide continental breakfast and lunch to in-person participants.
