MAET Hybrid Open House

Each summer, the Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) program hosts our hybrid graduate students for two weeks on campus, followed by four weeks of online learning. On Friday, Aug. 17, these students return to campus to synthesize and share their summer learning experience.

Students in the Year 1 cohort will be sharing the “wicked problems” they have been exploring this summer: 1) the achievement gap, 2) keeping education relevant, and 3) allowing failure to be as powerful a learning mode as success. Year 2 students will be reporting on the individualized research that they have conducted over the last six weeks. Research topics (which span a wide variety of educational technologies, age ranges, and content areas) will be shared in 5-minute presentations that will highlight major themes and takeaways from their research.

All members of the College of Education community are invited to stop by anytime in rooms 130 and 132 in Erickson Hall.
