MSU 2015-16 Chicago Cohort Intern Convocation

Celebration of the successful completion of the internship year by the MSU Chicago Cohort of Elementary, Secondary and Special Education interns. Family, friends, mentor teachers, Chicago Public Schools representatives gather to recognize the accomplishments of the interns throughout the 2015-16 . The event begins at 3:00 p.m. CST and will end at 5:00 p.m.
Featured speakers will be Robert E. Floden, Dean of the MSU College of Education, Dr. Margaret Crocco, MSU Department of Teacher Education Chair, and Matthew Lyons, Chicago Public Schools’ Chief of Talent. In addition, Brad Stewart, former intern and teacher at Bret Harte Elementary School, Captain Yashika Eggleston Tippett, Principal of the CPS Air Force High School, and current intern, Devon Grout, will also speak. A special performance of “For Good” by Special Education intern Cheryl Graff will also be included in the program.
