MSU College of Education Convocation

The College of Education Convocation (hooding ceremony) for eligible candidates will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Erickson Hall KIVA. There will be two ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Each ceremony offers a reception with light refreshments 45 minutes prior to the start of Convocation. Guests with special needs will be seated 20 minutes prior; general seating opens 15 minutes prior and procession of candidates begins promptly 10 minutes prior to each ceremony. In addition to regular visitor parking lots, the Erickson Hall Lot #38 will temporarily raise its gates and be open to the public (space will be limited).
To accommodate all of our graduates and their families, there will be two ceremonies:
- 9:00 – 10:15 a.m. — Graduates from the Departments of Educational Administration and Kinesiology
- 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. — Graduates from the Departments of Teacher Education; Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education and the Program in Mathematics Education (PRIME)
Academic apparel is required for candidates and faculty advisors.
