ABOUT THE GLOBAL DAY OF SERVICE
The MSU Global Day of Service is our way of showing the world the extraordinary impact Spartans can make in a single day. These organized, collaborative efforts will bring Spartans together to serve others in their communities while demonstrating the reach and power of the Spartan network.
Through the coordination efforts of the MSU Alumni Association, service-minded Spartans from around the globe—individual alumni, alumni clubs, groups, Spartan-led companies, businesses, non-profits and student organizations—are currently registering service projects. Spartans can also volunteer now for one of these established projects or create their own.
Not available on the MSU Global Day of Service? You can participate in a number of service projects year-round, or you can make an impact by supporting the university financially.
OUR IMPACT
Since 2013, the Global Day of Service has been a great success. Nearly 45,000 hours of service have been donated by more than 9,000 volunteers in 725 locations. These volunteers have provided a collective impact valued at $1,007,282 to their causes.
