Ponte las Pilas: Navigating the Graduate School Application Workshop

Are you considering applying to graduate school this fall or next? If so, join MICCA and SACNAS, for our Ponte las Pilas “Navigating the Graduate School Application” workshop!

At this workshop, you can prepare your application materials and receive information about

• writing personal statements
• preparing for entrance exams (like the GRE, LSATs, and MCATs)
• doing undergraduate research to enhance your application portfolio
• have the chance to hear from Dean Jeitschko from the Graduate School and Dean Maurer from MSU’s Medical School about what they look from applicants and funding opportunities.

We organized this workshop because we know how stressful and intimidating the graduate application process is, and we wanted to create the support that wasn’t available to us when we applied. We offer this workshop as a way to get advice and connect with graduate students from similar backgrounds and life experiences who are currently doing awesome in their graduate and professional programs.

This workshop is open to EVERYONE and is FREE! Food and refreshments will be provided!
