Presidential Search Student Input Session

October 9, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

This session is primarily forĀ undergraduate students of the MSU College of Education. By request, there are separate sessions for graduate students, faculty/staff and community members.

This session will take place at 116H Erickson Hall.Ā

WHO WILL BE THERE TO LISTEN

Undergraduate Student Body President Katherine Rifiotis.

FORMAT

MSU welcomes feedback regarding characteristics, qualifications and criteria for the university’s next president, as well as thoughts about what individuals consider to be the challenges and opportunities facing MSU.Ā  This is an input session: MSU representatives will listen and take notes. They will not respond to questions.

Individuals will have two (2) minutes to provide input on three (3) topics:

  • Desired characteristics of our new president
  • Challenges and problems at MSU that our new president should address
  • Vision for the future of MSU that the president should be able to articulate

Attendees will be given a chance to step up to a microphone and provide input. If a number of participants express interest, speakers will be determined through a random draw.Ā Online submission optionsĀ will be available for those who are unable to attend or donā€™t get an opportunity to speak during the session.
