Racial Inequities Within the Field of Applied Behavior Analysis: Ethical Issues and a Path Forward

The purpose of this panel discussion is to (1) hear of the experiences of people of color in the field of behavior analysis, (2) engage in a question and answer with professionals in the field of behavior analysis on topics of racial equality and justice, and (3) learn how to engage in ethical behavior in order to prevent racial inequality and promote cultural competency in the field of behavior analysis. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Codes 1.05c, 1.05d, and 1.05e will be discussed.
