Resources & Practices for Faculty Conducting Globally-Oriented Work

October 28, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am EDT

Dean Ann Austin and Associate Dean for International Studies Lynn Paine will lead a discussion for faculty in the College of Education who are planning or considering conducting globally-oriented research and outreach. The forum will discuss policies and new procedures to be aware of, as well as resources available in and outside the College that can support your work.

Representatives from ISP’s Global IDEAS, the Alliance for African Partnership, and AsiaNexus will share information about the relevant work of their units, describe resources they can offer and explain ways they can work with faculty in the college.

This is an important event for faculty members to hear about resources and policies that can support your international or global research and outreach. It is also an opportunity to share advice and ask questions of colleagues involved in this work.

Use Zoom ID: 917 9512 4837 (password: OISE2021).

This brownbag is among of a series of sessions hosted by OISE to provide the College of Education with opportunities to create community and resources around the variety of issues and topics related to globally-oriented work. We hope to create space and opportunity for engagement with faculty, staff, and students active in or interested in becoming active in such activities.
