About Terah Venzant Chambers

Terah Venzant Chambers is a professor of K-12 educational administration. Her research interests include post-Brown K-12 education policy and urban education leadership. She has served as president of the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), and as an Equity Fellow with the Great Lakes Equity Center. Within the college she is Program Director for the Doctorate in Educational Leadership, as well as Co-Director of the Graduate Certificate in Urban Education program. She is an inaugural member of the College Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. She has been an associate editor for several journals including serving on the editorial boards of AERJ, JRLE, and Urban Education. She has previously served as a Congressional Fellow with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) with placements in the Office of Rep. Diane E. Watson (retired) and the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education.
