Spring 2025 DICP Learning Initiative

As part of the Spring 2025 Diversity, Inclusion and Community Partnerships (DICP) Learning Initiative, these sessions will focus on arts-based engagements grounded in community, culture, and connection. Participants will engage with diverse art forms to deepen their understanding of complex social issues and celebrate cultural narratives. Arts-based learning emphasizes creativity as a tool for critical thinking, collaboration, and empathy, empowering individuals to address challenges in innovative and meaningful ways.
Beadwork as Culture – In this session, participants will explore the cultural significance of beadwork and build community while creating their own beadwork piece featuring the iconic Spartan “S.”
