A meta-analysis synthesizes the results of multiple studies. This session will provide an overview of what a meta-analysis is and tips for conducting a meta-analysis. This session will be particularly useful for developing new research methods.

Participation in the VCU Holmes Scholars professional development sessions is open to historically underrepresented Schools/Colleges of Education Ph.D. students and M.Ed. students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. They are designed to provide students with resources and knowledge to facilitate their success as doctoral students who will be positioned for tenure track faculty positions.
