Writing A Dissertation During a Pandemic

Please join the Chicano/Latino Studies (CLS) Program for a Virtual Coffee/Tea Chat on the dissertation journey. During this hour-long chat, panelists will talk about their own experiences and challenges, including how they have kept themselves motivated during a pandemic. Register here!

  • Christian V. Ramirez—successfully defended his dissertation in Feb. 2021 (CLS and Sociology dual major, Ph.D.)
  • Amanda Flores—defended her proposal Fall 2020 and currently collecting data for dissertation (Higher Education Ph.D. and CLS certificate)
  • Dianey R. Leal—defended her proposal Fall 2020 and currently recruiting participants for dissertation (CLS and Higher Education dual major, Ph.D.)
