Sensory Friendly Spartan Concert
April 25, 10 a.m. This chamber ensemble concert is designed to serve the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum or people with sensory sensitivities. International Visiting Scholar Talk: Franceso De Zuani Cassina
April 25, 12 to 1 p.m. Francesco De Zuani Cassina is a Ph.D. student in Physics at the University of Bologna, where his research looks at the relationship between STEM education and identity; promoting citizenship competencies through physics education; and future scaffolding skills, new languages and means of expression for physics education. International Visiting Scholar Talk: Niklaus Karlsen
May 1, 12 to 1 p.m. Niklas Karlsen is a Ph.D. student at Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway, where he works on the NFR-funded research project TRELIS with developing teaching resources for pre-service teacher education on the use of programming and modeling in science education. Graduate Research Fellowship Program Workshop Series
The MSU Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) Program is conducting a workshop series that will present NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) program information and provide structured practice to create competitive applications. Students will participate in a 5-part series that will include an overview of the GRFP and application process, first-hand advice from GRFP reviewers and recent awardees, and two interactive sessions to review and revise their application documents. Workshops will take place between September 11 and October 3. Learn more via The Graduate School
