Why Green & Write?
The pace of change in education today is swift. Trying to keep up, even for those who make education reform their main business, is a challenge. With the collective expertise at the College of Education at Michigan State University, we can help those working to understand the latest reform efforts. Green & Write provides a forum for our faculty and students to share insights, grounded in some of the best education research available, with a broader audience.
Here at the College of Education, we also believe that the next generation of education scholars must communicate their knowledge and expertise to a broad audience. Therefore, Green & Write provides our graduate students with the opportunity to not only become top-notch researchers with academic writing skills, but also to become effective at communicating with policy makers, educational leaders and the public.
In the Green & Write blogs you can expect to find profiles of educational experts, summaries of their latest research, and comments on current education policy reform initiatives. Our public education system is complex and no one answer will solve all problems. Therefore, you can expect that, at times, even our experts will disagree. However, our commentary will always be grounded in research and present a range of perspectives.
Please keep in mind, all opinions expressed in individual blogs are strictly those of the author(s) and do not reflect the opinions or endorsement of Michigan State University or the College of Education at MSU.
